This cap is the coolest thing (and yes, pun intended ;)! It uses the sun’s energy to cause evaporation that actually pulls the heat away from your head.
The Hydroweave system used in this hat combines hydrophilic (water-attracting) and hydrophobic (water-rejecting) fibers in a three-layer fabric that A) conducts body heat upwards, while B) retaining the cool water and releasing it slowly through evaporation.
Even while the middle layer holds onto water, your head remains cool and dry thanks to an inner lining that water can’t permeate.
You "charge" the hat by running it under cool water. Wring out the excess water and then plop it on your noggin where it'll keep your head up to 30º cooler than the outside air temperature, all the while keeping you dry and comfortable.
