2. NEW ITEMS AT THE WEBSITE

*****Our 'store' has come along a bit, there are some items there that you can check out and purchase if you wish. So far, I've got Amazon.com and Half.com available. *****How often do you have to ask for directions to get to job sites? What if you could just type in where you are and where you need to be, and get excellent directions? On our front page is a link to http://www.mapquest.com where you can do just that. We have personally used Mapquest more than once, and it has given excellent directions every time. We have used it to provide directions to our suppliers and employees on a regular basis. We have even faxed the directions to our supplier, directly from the Mapquest website!

*****I appreciate all the suggestions that flooded my email box about games at the site! The contest has been launched, and so far (before I even officially announced it) it appears to be quite popular. It only takes a couple minutes to enter, and each month a lucky winner will put some cash into his/her pocket..... *****NEW REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FROM THE EDD

In September 1999, Senate Bill 542 was passed which provided that any business or government entity that is required to file a federal Form 1099-MISC for services received may have to report specific independent contractor information to EDD beginning
