The main purposes of this website are 1) to provide on-going day and night support for the contractor and 2) to encourage, support and even highlight fair practice in the industry. Our goal, as lofty as it may be, is that this site ease and streamline the administration side of any and all construction contracting businesses. *****Word has it that Gov. Gray Davis made his nomination today (07-31-00) for the post of State Insurance Commissioner. Harry Low, said to be a retired judge from the California Court of Appeal and most recently an arbitrator, is reported to be that nominee. If Low is confirmed by the Legislature, he will complete the term of former insurance commissioner, Chuck Quackenbush.
